Breathe Easier With AirBoxLab

It’s no secret that pollution is a growing health concern. We can even see it hanging over industrial cities and bustling metropolises. But what about the air quality inside of your own house?

On average, the air you breathe at home is five to eight times more polluted than the air outside, according to the team at AirBoxLab, which is why they’ve created the indoor air pollution monitoring device.

AirBoxLab has a sensor in an airflow designed cylinder that collects data about your indoor air quality. Once that data is collected it is sent to your devices along with personalized and predictive advice about how you can maintain the best indoor air quality.

AirBoxLab measures the VOC levels, or volatile organic compounds in your home such as formaldehyde, acetone and benzene. It also measures carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide, particulate matter, temperature and relative humidity.

Future features of the AirBoxLab sensor device include the ability to locate sources of pollution in your home and a pattern recognition system. This system will allow the device to tap in to your home routine so that it can provide behavioral change suggestions so that you can avoid repeating pollution patterns.

The AirboxLab will hit the market in September; it's currently available for pre-order for $200. For more information on AirBoxLab visit www.airboxlab.com
