Interior Decorating

Peter Carlson was born in Boston, Massachusetts in 1954. He received degrees in English and Theatre from Connecticut College in 1975. Following graduation he moved to New York City to pursue a career in theatre and became very involved in the vibrant design community that blossomed there in the late 70's and early 80's. He established Peter F. Carlson & Associates, LLC in 1980 and began a highly successful interior design career producing elegant interiors for an elite clientele in New York and Los Angeles as well as London, Paris, Hong Kong, and Tokyo. Mr. Carlson's theatre background facilitated his work with some of Hollywood's most famous stars and his projects have been extensively published in many prestigious international magazines. In addition, a number of books document his interior, furniture, and lighting designs.
